"Stargate SG-1" may be on hiatus, but it's slated to start its amazing 10th season in July -- so you don't have too long a wait. In a rebroadcast of the Season 9 opener, Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell (Ben Browder) comes to the SGC to join SG-1, but he soon learns it's been disbanded; Carter (Amanda Tapping) is at Area 51, Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) is about to go to Atlantis and Teal'c (Christopher Judge) has left the program altogether. However, when Vala (Claudia Black) arrives bearing a tablet that supposedly tells the location of an ancient treasure, Mitchell decides that finding it would be the perfect way to reunite the team. Part 2 airs at 10 p.m.

I love this episode. The Vala entrance. Daniel's "ou-ch" when Vala cuffs him, Mitchell's interviews...The snark. The whining.

I may have to watch it again (for the fifth or sixth time)
