I wouldn't be surprised. There was definitely a bit of parody in the show. I loved both Bill & Ted Movies. They are really special I just love it when movies don't take themselves seriously and go way over the top bordering the line of utterly ridiculous and yet still being watchable and entertaining. It's a hard thing to accomplish. Most of the time it either goes too far or not far enough.
