does anyone think that when a topic is moved it should say where it has been moved to so as to prevent looking through all the forums to find it again
i have noticed a lot of topics being moved recently without it being said where they are being moved to it would be helpful to know where the threads are being moved to so we can read them there. for example a topic involving sam and jack be moved to the character/relationship forum
sorry in advance if this is in the wrong forum.:ronan:

Heh, this should actually be in the Off-Topic forum as this is for General Stargate discussion. But your note is quite valid ;)

if a thread is moved most of the time you will see this

the arrow means that the thread has been moved and clicking on that thread title will bring you to the threads new location

When a mod moves a topic s/he has the option of leaving a redirect in the section where it was originally. I can't speak for the others, but I generally leave the redirect whenever there has been more than one or two replies.
If it's a brand new thread that is clearly in the wrong place (e.g. a Season Ten thread in Atlantis Season Three), I have less sympathy for a thread starter who has to go hunting for it where it belongs.
