in honor of ship day, I asked everyone to share their story of how they discovered Sam and Jack ship. So here's mine:
I lived with my good friend who watched Stargate (and who's a shipper) last summer. She got me to watch and I loved it. I immeidately noticed Sam and Jack had 'something' between them, but it took me a few episodes to really figure it out. Then, I was watching Out of Mind with my friend...I saw the scene where Jack grabs Sam to keep her from yelling and alerting the Jaffa. And I watched as he just kept holding her...and holding her- even though the Jaffa were long gone. I turned to my friend and said "ok, whats up with the two of them? Cause I've noticed-" At that point my friend started laughing. When she was finally done, she explained and confirmed what I'd been seeing and a shipper was born!
so, now to read meimei's fic chapter and go to bed. Then, I'll be back around 8am to vote and chat. I'm getting up early just to come visit!
