Selling Innocence
Written by Aaron Martin (Degrassi: The Next Generation), Selling Innocence tells the story of 16-year-old Mia Sampson (Sarah Lind), whose life is a mess. Ignored at school, she can't even get her crush Justin Johnson (Mike Lobel) to notice her. At home, her mother Abby (Mimi Rogers) is on her case to get a job to help support their single-parent household. Everything changes when Mia is scouted by modelling agent Malcolm Lowe (J.R. Bourne). After Mia innocently agrees to have her portfolio displayed on a members-only website, she soon believes her life has turned around: not only has she made her mom proud and bagged Justin as her boyfriend, she's also got lots of money for clothes and gifts. The money, the attention, the praise - it all seems like a dream come true. But Mia's dream soon becomes a nightmare when one of her many online "fans" begins stalking her.

JR was a series regular on Stargate - SG 1, Madison, Big Sound, Beggars & Choosers and Andromeda in addition to his guest appearances on Millennium, The Outer Limits, Dead Man's Gun, Viper, Crow - Stairway to Heaven, Higher Ground, Jeremiah and Century City. His television film credits include Perfect Romance, Word of Honor and Aftershock - Earthquake in New York.
Among his feature films are Severed, The Score, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Ginger Snaps Back, 13 Ghosts, The Truth About Miranda, Cover Story and On the Corner. JR was also in the short film Arbor Vitae. He's currently filming Butterfly Effect 2.
