The same happens to me!!!! I HATE Emancipation, but the ending is just hillarious! I think this is the first and only time I will vote for Emancipation in anything but worst episode tourneys!

*I first saw the CotG, Pt.1, scene on a fan website a few months ago---wow, what a great example of Jack and Daniel's friendship. A beautiful scene. Shame it was cut.....
The last scene for Enemy Within was SG-1's first mission as a team and I love it for that...
I've never been crazy about Emancipation, but the ending was--I think-- the first real display of classic SG-1 humor between them.....it's still one of my favorite scenes.

(Just as I thought I'd take a rest from posting for a while another really great tournament begins...can't resist this one!)

Bloodlines

EXT—CLEARED PATH UPHILL

[SG-1 come to the top of the hill and look down on the Stargate. Teal'c closes his helmet. SG-1 go down the hill following Bra'tac. A Jaffa guard and two priests see them coming.]

BRA'TAC
Behold my friends. The traitors.
PRIEST #1
Halt. Come no further.
BRA'TAC
I am to present my prisoners to Apophis himself.
PRIEST #1
You cannot pass, Bra'tac.
BRA'TAC
You know of me?
PRIEST #1
Of course, Master. You were once the greatest Jaffa warrior of all. But no one may pass until the palace guard arrives.
BRA'TAC
I understand. Then we wait.
[Bra'tac turns and fires his staff at their feet igniting the ground. O'Neill and Carter draw their weapons to help but Teal'c stops them. Bra'tac knocks down the Jaffa and both priests. One priest comes up behind him and he knocks him out again.]

BRA'TAC
Not bad for a man of 133.
O'NEILL
Not bad at all. Daniel?
DANIEL
Yeah.
[Daniel goes to the DHD to dial out.]

CARTER
What will you do? When the priests come to, they'll tell Apophis that you betrayed them.
BRA'TAC
I suppose, I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
[Carter and O'Neill move to the Stargate.]

TEAL'C
I lack the words to thank you, Bra'tac.
BRA'TAC
I thank you, Teal'c. I have another young warrior to teach of new worlds.
[The Gate engages. Bra'tac places his arm on Teal'c's shoulder.]

BRA'TAC
Farewell my friend.
TEAL'C
Farewell.
[Teal'c joins Carter, O'Neill and Daniel on the steps to the Stargate.]

O'NEILL
Ten hut.
[O'Neill and Carter salute and Daniel waves. They then go through the Stargate. Teal'c waits, raises his staff weapon in salute and follows. As Bra'tac walks away, the Gate shuts down.]

Fire and Water

EXT—PLANET—BEACH—DAY

[The bubbles stop, and NEM walks toward TEAL'C. All three solders aim their weapons, ready to fire. Before they can say anything DANIEL bursts out of the water, gasping for air. O'NEILL, TEAL'C and CARTER look at him with startled surprise.]

DANIEL
Don't shoot!
[DANIEL coughs and swims to them. He stumbles out of the water and onto the beach, moving to stand before NEM.]

DANIEL
Nem, you have your answer. Now let us go.
[As DANIEL stares at him, pleading, NEM turns to look at his teammates. He looks back to DANIEL.]

NEM
You may go.
DANIEL
I'm sorry I couldn't give you the answer you wanted.
NEM
I am sorry also.
DANIEL
We could still become friends, your people…and…and mine.
CARTER
That's why we were here; we meant no harm.
NEM
Perhaps, in time.
DANIEL
Right.
[NEM turns back to look intently at DANIEL.]

NEM
And in time, Daniel, you will find…what fate Sha're.
[DANIEL nods uncertainly. The team watches silently as NEM heads back into the water. He dives back into the sea and disappears. DANIEL looks at his team. O'NEILL shakes his head, his sunglasses hiding his eyes. CARTER smiles. They walk to encircle him.]


DANIEL
Ah, this…this is a long story.
CARTER
Yeah, I'll bet!
O'NEILL
Tell us about it over Sushi?
[DANIEL stares, momentarily speechless, at O'NEILL, who's laughing.]

DANIEL
That's funny. Uh, I will, after I go get some sleep.
[DANIEL heads for the Stargate. His team walks around him, smiling.]

O'NEILL
Ah, home. Yeah about that apartment…
DANIEL
Oh, you didn't!
CARTER
The, um, day after the memorial service.
DANIEL
The memorial service?
CARTER
The colonel said some really nice things.
DANIEL
He…he did. He did?
[SG-1 walks across the dunes in the direction of the Stargate.]

Hathor

INT—SGC LOCKER ROOM

[Later. DR FRAISER, her arm in a sling, is bending over to the floor, taking samples of the gooey substance that dripped from the hot tub. CARTER is assisting her. O'NEILL DANIEL, and TEAL'C, in civilian clothing, enter the room.]

O'NEILL
Did you find anything?
DR FRAISER
Probably nothing we can use. Maybe we'll at least get a cellular level analysis on the Goa'ulds, maybe we even find some DNA information.
DANIEL
(Uncomfortably)
A lot of that will probably be mine. O'NEILL
Ew.
DANIEL
Yeah.
[HAMMOND enters. CARTER and DR FRAISER jump to their feet.]

CARTER
(Nervously)
General Hammond, sir.
HAMMOND
At ease, Captain. At ease, Doctor.
CARTER
Thank you sir. About your head, I'd like to explain that if I could.
HAMMOND
Captain, I'm putting you and Dr Fraiser up for a commendation medal.
CARTER
Well, thank you sir, but I can explain…(She stops in confusion, looking over at Fraiser)
You are?
HAMMOND
If you hadn't kept your wits about you and done whatever was necessary, we could have put this entire planet at risk. Good job, ladies.
[DR FRAISER smiles. CARTER looks relieved.]

CARTER
Thank you, sir.
HAMMOND
(with a smile)
Well, that's all.
[CARTER tries not to look too pleased, but she can't hide her smile.]

O'NEILL
(grinning)
Nice job.
DANIEL
Yeah.
[CARTER ducks her head and smiles.]

Singularity

INT—LOWER LEVEL FACILITY

[CARTER crosses room to CASSANDRA, who jumps up and wraps her legs around CARTER'S waist. They hug again.]

EXT—PARK

[DANIEL and CARTER are swinging CASSANDRA between them. TEAL'C is following. All are dressed in civilian clothing.]

DANIEL
You're getting a little heavy for this.
O'NEILL
(Calls from across park, where he's carrying a dog.)
Cassandra!
CARTER
Hey, there he is.
CASSANDRA
(Running across to O'Neill)
What's that?
O'NEILL
We have a rule here on Earth. Every kid has got to have a dog. This is a dog. And he's yours.
[O'NEILL hands the dog to CASSANDRA. CARTER, DANIEL and TEAL'C are sitting on a picnic table, watching O'NEILL and CASSANDRA interact.]

DANIEL
So, how sure were you really?
CARTER
I can't explain it, Daniel; I just knew.
TEAL'C
Mother's instinct, perhaps.
CARTER
(Grins.)
Subtle, but no.
Dr. Fraiser is going to take her until we can find qualified parents.
DANIEL
By qualified, you mean ones with the right security clearance.
CARTER
I wouldn't be surprised if Dr. Fraiser wants to keep her for herself. As long as Cassandra's happy.
TEAL'C
She appears to be.
CARTER
And I wasn't completely at ease until I learned the object was shrinking and being reabsorbed into her system.
(Cassandra comes over, carrying the dog.)
Hey!
CASSANDRA
Hey Samantha. See my new dog?
CARTER
Wow. Your new dog?
CASSANDRA
It's an Earth rule. Every kid has to have one. But I don't mind.
[CARTER raises her eyebrows and looks at O'NEILL.]

O'NEILL
Why don't I take the dog for a little walk.
(He takes the dog out of Cassandra's arms.)
C'mere. Teal'c? You know anything about dogs?
TEAL'C
Nothing.
[O'NEILL gestures, and TEAL'C and DANIEL follow him.]

CASSANDRA
When you find me a new home, will you come and visit me?
CARTER
You betcha. All the time.
CASSANDRA
That is, when you're on Earth.
CARTER
Right. Now, about that Cassandra…
CASSANDRA
I know. The Stargate is a secret; and I was born in a place called…Toronto?
CARTER
Right.
[CARTER and CASSANDRA share a smile of complete understanding.]

CASSANDRA
(Looks across park at swing set.)
What are those?
CARTER
Ah. Those are swings.
CASSANDRA
I never had any of those…in Toronto. They look like fun.
CARTER
They are. Come on.
[Hand in hand, CASSANDRA and CARTER head for the swings.]

Cor-ai

INT—COURTROOM

[Teal'c fires on Jaffa. He leaps to stop a Jaffa from firing on group of villagers, gets hit in leg with staff blast but takes out a Jaffa. Jaffa aims staff at Teal'c. O'Neill and Carter arrive.]

O'NEILL
Hey!
[O'Neill fires on Jaffa who is threatening Teal'c. Daniel kneels to check Teal'c's wound.]

DANIEL
Oh, looks bad. Let's get him home.
TEAL'C
No.
[Teal'c stands up with rest of SG-1's help, gives his staff to Hanno.]

TEAL'C
It is midday. I am prepared to accept my punishment.
O'NEILL
Teal'c.
HANNO
You would save those who wish to kill you?
TEAL'C
I would save those who deserve to live.
HANNO
I have made a mistake. My memory was faulty. You are not the same man as he who murdered my father.
TEAL'C
I am the one.
HANNO
No. That Jaffa is dead. You have killed him. We have our own wounded to care for. I suggest you take your friend home.
[Teal'c takes staff from Hanno, bows his head to him and steps away.]

O'NEILL
We can help you defend yourselves.
HANNO
We would appreciate that.
[SG-1 is alone in the courtroom. O'Neill puts his hand on Teal'c's shoulder.]

Enigma

INT—STARGATE ROOM

[Hammond, O'Neill and Carter enter. O'Neill and Carter join Daniel and Teal'c on the ramp.]

DANIEL
You did good, Daniel.
TEAL'C
What of Maybourne?
CARTER
Oohh, he's not a happy camper.
HAMMOND
There'll be hell to pay when he gets back to Washington.
[O'Neill moves to stand next to Daniel.]

O'NEILL
(to Daniel)
What?
DANIEL
Oh, just thinking what the little guy with funny hair once told us.
O'NEILL
The very young do not always do as they're told.
[Daniel turns to O'Neill and smiles.]

DANIEL
Yeah.
[The four members of SG-1 stand in a line, looking at the Stargate.]

[Celsius]

Solitudes

INT—ICE CAVERN

[CARTER is strapped to a stretcher.]

DANIEL
Sam! Sam! Come on.
[CARTER slowly opens her eyes.]

DANIEL
She's going to be okay, you're going to be okay.
TEAL'C
As is Colonel O'Neill.
[O'NEILL is also strapped to a stretcher.]

HAMMOND
Let's get them in the chopper.
CARTER
…the Colonel…he's bleeding internally.
HAMMOND
We know, Captain, don't worry, he's going to be all right.
CARTER
General, you came through the Stargate for us…
HAMMOND
Not exactly, Captain.
(To one of the rescue team)
A team from the SGC will be arriving within the hour to secure this area. In the meantime let's get these people home.
[HAMMOND turns, his gaze falls upon the icy Stargate…]

Tin Man

INT—HARLAN'S COMPOUND: THE STARGATE

[SG-1 and robot SG-1 gather with Harlan at the Stargate.]

O'NEILL
So don't forget to bury the Gate when where gone.
ROBOT O'NEILL
Like that's something I would forget.
O'NEILL
Well.
[Both O'Neills shake hands.]

O'NEILL
See ya. And uh, you should have that looked at, it's…whoa.
[O'Neill points to the wound on Robot O'Neill's face.]

ROBOT O'NEILL
Have a good life.
O'NEILL
See ya.
[Robot Carter and Harlan wave as the real SG-1 team members step through the Gate.]

There But For the Grace of God

INT—P3R-233 ARTIFACT ROOM

[Daniel is lying on the floor in front of the mirror, clutching his arm. The mirror is dark.]

O'NEILL
Daniel!
[O'Neill races in and kneels down by Daniel. Carter and Teal'c follow.]

O'NEILL
(examining Daniel's shoulder wound.)
What the hell is this?
TEAL'C
It appears to have been caused by a staff weapon.
[Carter gently pulls a piece of paper out of Daniel's hand.]

CARTER
This looks like a Stargate address.
[O'Neill looks at Daniel.]

O'NEILL
All right. Let's get him back to Earth.
[O'Neill starts to pull him up, but Daniel suddenly clutches his arm.]

DANIEL
No, Jack!
(breathing heavily)
We're all in very big trouble.
[O'Neill, Teal'c, and Carter look at him and each other, puzzled.]

DANIEL
They're coming! They're coming.

Politics

INT—GATE ROOM, LOOKING UP TO BRIEFING ROOM WINDOW

[The SG-1 team members stand together, looking down at the Stargate.]

INT—STARGATE

Within the Serpent's Grasp

INT—KLOREL'S SHIP, CORRIDOR AND PELTAC

[Carter and Daniel approach the peltac, where Jaffa are holding O'Neill and Teal'c captive. Carter sets off a smoke grenade in the corridor. Some Jaffa come to investigate, and Carter and Daniel fire on them, taking them out. They move into the peltac, and O'Neill and Teal'c join the fight in hand-to-hand combat. They take out all the Jaffa.]

[Klorel enters and grabs Daniel, whose gun skitters across the floor. Klorel then begins using the ribbon device on Daniel, who drops to his knees and grabs Klorel's arm, but to no effect.]

O'NEILL
Skaara! Skaara, don't!
TEAL'C
O'Neill, you must take action!
O'NEILL
Skaara!
[O'Neill shoots Klorel/Skaara twice with Daniel's pistol. Klorel falls, and O'Neill goes to his side.]

CARTER
Daniel, you okay?
[Daniel is sitting up but is gasping and unable to answer.]

SKAARA
O'Neill.
O'NEILL
Ah Skaara, I'm sorry.
[Skaara/Klorel smiles at O'Neill, then dies.]

TEAL'C
Colonel O'Neill.
O'NEILL
Yeah, gimme a second, here.
TEAL'C
I cannot.
[They all look out of the view screen, O'Neill still kneeling by Skaara's body.]

CARTER
Earth.
DANIEL
I thought you said we couldn't be there for at least a year.
CARTER
I guess this ship can go way faster than ten times the speed of light.
[They all gather to stand and look at the view screen.]

CARTER
Colonel, we saw the death gliders. They're prepping for launch, sir.
[Camera shows all of SG-1, then zooms backward to show them through the view screen from the exterior of the ship.]
