    robert silverberg title question

for some reason Robert Silverberg came up in conversation today...haven't read him since Majipoor really went downhill...but i've now got one of his books stuck in my head and I can't find a title that clicks for me so I need som help.

it's probably from the mid 80s.

it's about a teen-ish guy that wins a science fair (i think) and gets placed on the first manned mission to Pluto.

    adventure ensures.

    any help on the title?
    Thanks!

World's Fair, 1992 and it was actually published in hardback in 1969, thought the edition I have is a 1982 Ace paperback with a new introduction. It's a sequel to his 1964 juvie Reagan's World which, as far as I'm aware, was never reprinted and - as as Silverberg points out at some length in the intro - not a retitled or rewritten version of the earlier novel.

    Hope that helps.
