Oh dear, beset by problems already. Anyone else getting the feeling this new Bond (film) is shaping up to be a huge turkey?

Yes, I do. Daniel Craig does nothing for me. He doesn't look Bondish at all.

Same here. Just from a straight guy's perspective, he's not good looking enough. Sorry Daniel. Plus he's blonde. Not to mention this whole film is taking a retro spin, which a lot of times doesn't work. So idk. We'll see.

I didn't want to offend any blondes by saying they're not sexy but I like tall dark and handsome and that pretty much epitomizes Bond for me.

Oh the director got arrested for attempting to w&*$# himself to an undercover cop, meanwhile also dressed in drag.

I hate to laugh at such a thing, but I'm finding it very hard right now not to. In fact, I'm kind of LMAO over here. Definitely not off to a great start, is our "new" Bond.

Angry Bond Fans Threaten to Boycott Film

NEW YORK (AP) - They're shaken, stirred and just plain angry. And several months late with their response. A group of James Bond fans have launched a Web site, www.craignotbond.com, to protest British actor Daniel Craig replacing Pierce Brosnan in the 007 film franchise, and boycott the upcoming Bond movie ``Casino Royale.''

                  LOL! Wuss...

Anyway, IMO... Jason Borne > James Bond.

I love the way all the media reports I've read about it frame it as "Pierce Brosnan Comments on Successor's Accident". When told about the accident and asked if he thought Craig was physically fit enough for the role, Brosnan replied "He's a fine actor", which isn't exactly answering the question...

I got the feeling right away that Craig got the job because he was the only one willing to do it for the money that the producers were willing to spend on the lead role.

Bond fans have been glamoring for a "more down to earth real Bond movie", in other words a low budget film. Guess the old saying "Careful what you wish for" is still right.

Didn't I read somewhere that Casino Royale was doing some filming in the Bahamas? If memory serves, Bond crews traditionally go there to film underwater stuff.

Problem is, and maybe my memory's playing tricks on me, I don't remember any underwater stuff going on in Casino Royale?

Long before you and I were born, others beat these benches with their empty cups,
To the night and its stars, to the here and now with who we are.

Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.
