I was reading on Wikipedia that they ACTUALLY considered Atkinson for the role of the 8th doctor in the movie. Makes you wonder what might have happened had he have been cast.

Makes you wonder what might have happened had he have been cast.I heard an interview with Tom Baker, in which he mentioned working alongside Rowan Atkinson in Black-Adder II. He claims Rowan was "unimpressed with [his] performance" in that episode. I got the impression from the interview that Rowan didn't think much of Tom, but that might have just been Tom's insecurity.

This was a fantastic parody of the doctor showing about 5 regenerations in as many minutes. Also the Master and the Daleks together were great as the Master said 'They are NOT Breasts they are simply Dalek bumps !!!'

Thats why he was chosen, from what i heard, all of the actors that played the doctor in that special were picked because they were the most populer theories as to who would become doctor no. 8

Ok thanks BTW I just saw some screens of "The Curse Of Fatal Death" and they were funny :P :D
I cant believe the ending! I thought that The 13th Doctor will die after trying to defeat The Master and The Daleks. but when i saw that The (Female) 13th Doctor Stays alive and goes out with The Master i was like "OMG! Nasty maaaan!" lol rofl
But im glad that the Canon new series did not go that way cause then it would be crazy! but it would be cool seeing Hugh Grant actually playing as the 11th or 12th Doctor in the new series lol

You know, i DO hope that they release Curse of Fatal Death on DVD, but it would be even better if they'd release a comic relief Doctor Who set that included "Curse of Fatal Death", "Dimensions in Time" and hey, why not the recent prelude to "The Christmas Invasion" that was broadcast on children in need last year?
That, plus all the wonderful extras already on the CoFD Video (French and Saunders, Lenny Henry, Victoria Wood, The Making of documentry) would probabley be a well recieved DVD, and being as though the majority of all that is new or on video, it wouldn't be that difficult to do.

The Prelude wasnt really comical it was a serious discussion bfore the Doctor went into overdrive. I think it should be presented with the Christmas invasion in one healthy sized extended story.

I would love to see Dimensions in Time, but they say it won't be release comerically because it was done for charity. Why don't they release and give the proceeds to the same charity.

As do I, it's one I have not had the fortune of seeing. It would be a shame if it did not get a release, especially when so much money could be made for charity using it.

I recently read from The Wikipedia, under "Dimensions in time", that all of the actors working in the Episode werent being payed so whoever was makeing "Dimensions In Time" couldnt show it again or make any VHS or DVDs of it. So it looks like the airing of "Dimensions in Time" is litteraly a Once in a life-time event. I think i just made everybody go down :( :(
Sorry about that :( :( :(
The second part of the episode was broadcasted as part of popular UK programme "Noel's House Party." Noel Edmonds, the host of the programme, requested the episode have several key lines and moments cut from broadcast for timing reasons. This lead to the story's failure to make any real narrative sense.
So there ya have it thnx to good ol' Noel Edmonds for asking cut out several parts of the episode to make it pretty much Narritive non-sense. But oh well......
it's gone now. Dimensions In Time is gone. but..............
PETITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I feel like im going ot get banned for doing this kinda stuff lol
Now back onto the subject. I shown my dad a picture of Rowan Atkinson in Curse of Fatal Death and my dad said "man! he looks cool with that long hair! he should keep it like that!" I thought he looked pretty funny in long hair lol
