This is so sad. I can't believe there is no one else out there who thunks (even a little) over Beau Bridges.

I'll admit to thunking for Beau. I am a thunker from way back in day. I even own a vhs copy of The Landlord, in which he starred alongside Lou Gossett. Plus, I remember him in For Love of Ivy. Although I am a relatively young woman, his star quality cannot be denied.

You know, he and the other BB could be father and son. They look very much alike.

Aw, I knew there were other Beau thunkers out there.

One of my first movies I saw him in was "The Fifth Musketeer". I'll have to track down a pic of him in it.

Wow..can't believe he looks soo young! He looks just like his brother, Jeff, in my opinion of course! He's not bad looking for an older gentleman.

I'm so frustrated that I can't find a lot of good pictures of him. I think I need to rent a couple movies and cap them to get some of when he was younger. I don't have the time to download from TiVo SG-1 to get some pics, but perhaps someone else does.

Beau has played a lot of kooky parts, which is why I couldn't quite see him as a general originally. But he has done a very good job with the part of Landry.

I've always like Beau over Jeff. I don't know why. Maybe it was all those kooky parts he's played.

I think Beau is an awesome actor, extremely talented, and from the way his character seems to be shaping up (aside from the lame storyline with his daughter) I think he may be a stronger character than Hammond. At least I'm hoping so, if they could just ship Lam off to some other location.
