Hyperdrive - new scifi sitcom

For your information, a new sci fi sitcom called Hyperdrive airs in the UK on BBC 2 at 10 pm this Wednesday.

From the Times: It is 2151 and the starship HMS Camden Lock is wandering the cosmos - its mission: "to protect Britain's interests in a changing galaxy".

It has been praised as better than Red Dwarf (I think that's unlikely) but might be worth a shot.

It looks cool plus its got the actor who was in Shaun of The Dead (Simon Pegg's best friend) in it so Im definatly gonna watch it.

how could *anything* be better than red dwarf?? thats probably the best scifi comedy there is!

but alas, I shall watch and give it a chance, doesnt sound too bad anyway

Indeed, looks like Red Dwarf for the 21st century. It looks interesting though, trying to get aliens to relocate to earth, Peterborough of all places... indeed! hehe... I'll be checking this out.

It looked quite funny from the trailer.....but I thought it was dreadful, didn't laugh once!
Twice this week I've been fooled by the trailers, although with 'Life on Mars' it was the other way around [trailer=looks a bit rubbish, programme=enjoyable]

Well I think its great ive seen the first 3 episodes of it and they are great expecially the latest one. I love the ships computer with its great quotes such as 'Did you used to work on Level Four, but moved to a new level and fell out of touch with your old friends? Why not come down to the Levels Reunited evening at the ship pub.' ITs Brillient !!!

I watched one episode. As an American, I found it to be quite amusing..! Totally ridiculous and corny, but very amusing.
