It was first aired as a single episode.
It has been sold on DVD for months as a single episode.
It is on the Atlantis Season 1 box set as a single episode.
It's even received awards as a single episode!

The only place I can think of where it is regarded as two episodes is in syndication airing. Creative vision and storytelling ought not be sacrificed in polling because the networks are unwilling to devote two one-hour timeslots to the same story.

Okay. After a couple of votes like this for some pretty good episodes I think people need to read the rules that Celsius posted in the begining. This is like Stargate Surviver. You vote your least favorite episodes off.

Oh, don't take things so seriously. It doesn't matter if Celsius split the ep into two parts. They are technically two episodes because Hide and Seek is considered by everyone as the 3rd episode of the season. Anyway he did the same thing with Children of the Gods and Lost City and no one complained then.

The rules clearly state that people should vote for their least favourite episodes. If people choose not to read them, well I'm afraid that they'll be voting off their favourite episodes, and as some people dislike episodes that the majority like, I'm not going to try and work out who has gotten the voting wrong. Sorry if that's harsh but it happens in almost every tournament.

And Digifluid I'm sorry if you feel strongly about Rising being a single episode but on the Atlantis season 1 episodes section there are two seperate threads for part 1 and part 2, and it doesn't make much sense for season 1 to have only 19 episodes, so in this tournament at least Rising is listed as two parts.
