P-90: the next generation

The P-90 is obviosly served the teams well in the fight against the ogauld and many of the soldiers in the SGC have a personal attachment to the weapon: so with that in mind what would the next generation of weapons used by the SGC be like, i thought this could be an idea of the way to go.

It certainly looks good. However what I had in mind is something like the battle rifle from Halo 2-whoever has played it will know

that gun reminds me of the splinte cell gun, know the one i mean? i like the halo gun as well that just caught my eye because it a P-90 wrapped up in lot of toys to make it better, like more ammo, better sights etc.

the P-90 is a brillaint gun but for it to be next generation it should be an energy weapon, one thats fires energy like the kull warriors wrist weapon but more powerful

how about use intar crystels at a higher more deadly setting, Zat gun in a P-90 format.

but those guns are ugly and are truely annoying....the P-90 is a work of art.

Saying that, one of stargates charms (why i started watching it on channel 4 back at school during my school holidays) was that they were just todays millitary, using conventional stuff, but with a stargate, and other worlds to explore.
