When will "they" announce sg1 will return for season 10?

I would bet any money there will be a season 10. And I can't wait for it. Of course, hearing the official announcement would be nice. :)

i bet there will be a season 10 as well...but i have a feeling it won't go beyond season 10..i bet season 10 will be the last season :(

I doubt that season 10 will be the last year. Stargate will be on for another couple of years, at least.

I think it will go to 11 or 12 seasons.

Well, I cant be sure how accurate what I am about to say but here it is.

The continuation of the series depends:
1. on it getting new audience to keep the ratings up.
2. wether or not the exsisting audience is still interested.
3. would several current cast members like to remain.
4. plus something else I cannot think up. :-)
