Stargate thoughts and questions

It strikes me ironic that us humans referred to the Gou'ald as scavengers of the galaxy in the early eps, and here we are with a ship made up from tech of different races trying to get as much tech out of a city built by another race as possible.

I have thought and hunted for a while, but I am yet to find answers to the following, keep in mind I haven't seen every ep of SG1 and I have a poor memory.

When Anubis dialled our gate for ages and we couldn't use it, it showd a shot of the stargate in this crazy ring with all this stuff going to it, what the heck was that and does that have enough power to get to Atlantis? or did DJ and Teal'c destroy it?

Was that computer game chair that Teal'c got stuck in designed by the Ancients? If so, I thought they were peaceful.

In the Defiant one, why was that Wraith so tough and why did Maj. Sheppard keep saying 'this one is different?

Why don't the Asgard get a human body from us and start cloning? It would be a lot cheaper.

In Promethius Unbound, who were the aliens that were swapping the Naqudah for the ship?

the weapon used by anubis was destroyed by ryac. even if it could power an intergalactic wormhole, its toast now.

the chair was built by the race of people in "the gamekeeper"

The defiant wraith was extra tough because he had lived so long. as mckay said, anything that can live that long is gonna be formidable.

the asgard dont approve of cloning humans to solve their own problems, loki did that and he got in trouble for it

earth "scavenges" for tech legally and does it for defense. the goauld scavenge by stealing and deceit, and do it to conquer

As stated Ryac destroyed this, Teal'c and Bratec were present. DJ was newly ascended at the time and was not present for the events of the show because he was at New Ascended Orientation (IMHO)

As stated these was created by the Gamekeeper himself. He stated this in the Gamekeeper ep and indicated thats why he was in charge (If I remember right).

Have to disagree with the above post on this one. I thought they said he was so tough because he just got done eating 1 1/2 people. Newly fed wraith are apparently nearly invincible.

Apparently this would not help them. Humans brains are not advanced enough to contain an asgard conciousness and we lack the special something that would solve their cloneing problems. Thor said so so it must be true. Loki is apparently a dimwitted type of Asgard.


In Promethius Unbound, who were the aliens that were swapping the Naqudah for the ship?
Dont know the name of their race but those two particular goofballs were part of the Lucian Alliance
