Cast your own Star Trek series

Given the abundance of Star Trek threads atm I thought it would be interesting to see how people would cast a star trek series if they were in charge. You can pick anyone you want, whether an A-list star or a virtual no-namer, even someone who´s already been in a ST series.

To keep things simple let´s have the roles be the classic ones from trek namely:

Captain
First officer
Science officer
Weapons officer
Helms man
Engineer
Doctor

Plus any you feel are needed to fill out your vision of trek. I´ll post mine in a little bit :)

Ok, here is how I´d cast a typical trek series:

Captain - Viggo Mortensen
First officer - Christian Bale
SO - Amanda Tapping (Can´t think of anyone better at technobabbling :D )
WO - Ben Browder
Helms man - Elijah Wood
Engineer - Mickey Rourke
Doctor - Marsha Thomason

Captain - Picard. He´s the best so thats a no brainer :)

Doctor - Bashir
