You're absolutely right. In my enthusiasm at finally being able to vote for Changeling I overlooked how my second-favourite ever Teal'c ep is also in this poll, and likely to go out :(. Oh well, c'est la vie.

I voted for Changeling but, though I think CJ did a fantastic job writing - and acting - it, I think that Threshold is the better Teal'c episode.

Firstly, because it ties in so wonderfully with COTG, but also, we got to see Teal'c's journey. We saw him grow and succeed in a dangerous society. We saw his youth, his ignorance, bravery and cowardice and his angst and his anger and his confusion. We got to see more of how his mentor Bratac became his friend.

Is there a way I can get my vote switched? If not, no biggie.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to see that The Warrior has got some votes, but I couldn't help but feel that Teal'c acted too irresponsibly. He blindly followed Kytano, and the way that he and Bra'tac ignored O'Neill's suspicions was a bit suspect.

Changeling, no contest. I love the story, the twist, the acting, the directing, this is one of few episode that I really listened to the commentaries. Bravo to CJ & MW.

Because there's so much to it. There's several stories in there, each hiding under or twisting through another story. I could wax lyrical about it for pages, but I won't cos I've got laundry to do. Ahh, I went out on a limb and went for Meridian. The Changeling is a fabulous ep, but Meridian really got me. Being the rabid Jackson fangirl that I am, I swore I wouldn't get upset at Meridian, and I was doing fine until Teal'c broke down. That killed me. We don't normally see that side of him - He's always so stoic, the warrior, the Jaffa, the rebel, the shol'va, but never the one that's hurt or upset. He's strong when others crumble. Seeing him get upset that he was losing his friend in the most horrible way, watching him die, well that cut deep, and slammed it home.

It was hard to pick between Changeling and Threshold, but I picked Threshold because of what we learn about his past and how it brought him to deciding to fight along side the Tau'ri.
