I guess I have been extremely lucky thus far in life to have been spared broken bones and life-threatening injuries. But does anyone know how long it takes IRL to recover from a concussion? I mean a REAL one, not a TV-one.

Darn long.
I fell off a horse once, in full gallop through the woods....but before I actually felt sick, I searched for my glasses for a full five minutes...until then I had thought I was feeling weird because I couldn't see anything and because my right arm hurt like hell...twisted shoulder.
It's like having the hangover from hell for several days.
