I just recently bought Suspicious River (Canadian movie), and man is that a BAD movie. Not just production-wise (no story, no plot), but also morally wrong. Oh.....and the character Michael Shanks played in this movie is a VERY bad man. (a rapist ) Let's just say, it was hard to believe that's the same guy who plays sweet, good-hearted, good-natured, loveable Dr. Daniel Jackson.

Anyone else see this movie?

yea i saw the movie and yes it is i think i only watched it once!

i know at a con michael talked about why he took the part but yea you can't believe that is same guy but then again that is why he is an actor and makes us believe in the characters he creates

I saw it, I have it, and yeah, it is one weird movie. I've watched it a couple times, fast-forwarding to Michael's parts, but it's uncomfortable watching his character. Which is as it should be; he did a supurb job with the part.

Really strange movie. I about died laughing when I saw DSD, though. He was um, being serviced by the kneeling heroine. Is that clean enough?

That's definitely one of the better Andromeda episodes. It isn't particulalry focussed on Dylan (Hercules) which is good in my opinion - I'm afraid he's the character that put me off the show. Love the fight scenes, both with Rommie and with Hector (aka Chris Judge). Unfortunately it was a bit off putting them calling him Hector (UK folk will know what I mean - I kept expecting him to say something like 'well I'm a confused Hector').

I loved the two characters MS played, Gabriel was so tortured and Remiel (sp?) so convincingly evil.

And that MS looked utterly thunkworthy all the way through was just an added bonus!

Truth be told, I've only ever seen Day of Judgement, Day of Wrath--the one with Remiel, and yes, he DID chew the scenery divinely, didn't he? I'm very much looking forward to Starcrossed tonight, I'm even having my father record it on DVD for me. Everybody say thanks Dad!
