It's not on the topic of Daniel, but it reminds me of relatives I have who spent beaucoup years in Africa and they said when you get there, you see a bug in your drink and pour it out. Five years later you see a bug in your drink, shrug and drink around it. Ten years later, you don't see a bug in your drink and you ask, "Hey! Where's my bug?"

I don't know if Daniel is in the early or late stage...
