Morning Ladies,

Posting from my best friend's house, we have just finished a late breakfast of chocolatines and fresh orange juice, presents opened (no chocolate Daniels, I'm afraid but other nice stuff) and the turkey just went in for a late lunch.
Weather here in Manchester UK is cold, bright and sunny - though having said that, there are big black clouds, possibly with snow in them, looming. We don't get snow here very often.

When I got here on Christmas eve, the whole family were gathered round watching DVD's. My season five DVD's to be accurate. I have been lending them my boxed sets, spreading the SG1 bug. I vetoed Meridian on Chrismas eve though!

Hope you all got the DVD sets you were hinting so strongly for.

Play nice with the clones, don't forget to share.

She relented, and told me to behave myself when we're out in public or only my kids get to go out with her next time.

Good morning and Merry Christmas to all of y'all. Well, Christmas is postponed until tomorrow for me. We're supposed to go to my cousin's house north of the lake (Lake Pontchartrain), but it's sleeting and freezing and conditions over the bridges are hazardous. My hubby has run to the grocery for food. He says hamburgers and hotdogs are not proper Christmas food. Oh, well, I guess I'll have to spend the day curled up under a blanket watching my S7 dvd's that I got for a present. It's a rough life.....and it starts off with 'Fallen'.Mmmm.... Weather update...Not that I'm normally a weather nerd, but I am kinda freaked out by a white Christmas...in New Orleans! Yes, it's snowing now, mixed with freezing rain. Kliggins, clear out the guest room, I'm coming over. I need a warmer climate.

Well, it sounds like everyone got thier Daniel under the tree via a boxset of one season or another. I didn't . Though after talking to the hubby, the younger son kept trying to tell him and the older one that the boxsets were what I wanted. They didn't believe him and so now I'll have to go and buy them myself next week some time (at least a couple of them) I'm thinking season 4 is next on the list. Well, I have some picking up to do around the house (clean up from breakfast and such) So I shall see you later.

Glad to hear everyone is having a great Christmas.

(by the way, I did enjoy the gifts I did receive: jewelry and a really cool popcorn maker.)

OMG, y'all should see my backyard. We have SNOW accumulating on everything. It's so cool. For those of you who don't live in the deep south you have to understand-WE DON'T GET THIS STUFF EVER! It's not little flakes, it's a huge bunch of great big flakes. My son made a little snowman on the hood of my truck. I just hope the electricity doesn't go out or we're screwed. I won't be able to get online or watch my Stargate dvds.
