Self-described; Pilot, Wit, and Superior Intellect.

Qoute: "Cuteness deserves to be preserved".
The success or failure of your deeds, does not add up to the sum of your life. Your spirit cannot be weighed! Judge yourself by the intentions of your actions, and by the strength with which you faced the challenges that have stood in your way. The Universe is so vast, and we are so small, there is only truly one thing we can control; whether we are good or evil... -Oma Desala

LOL Too true... The very first book introduces my favorite fictional character (at least for SW), Corran Horn. They really are great entertainment... I wish they'd write more of them.

Long before you and I were born, others beat these benches with their empty cups,
To the night and its stars, to the here and now with who we are.

Another sunrise with my sad captains, with who I choose to lose my mind,
And if it's all we only pass this way but once, what a perfect waste of time.

"Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, It seems to me most strange that men should fear; Seeing that death, a necessary end, Will come when it will come."

"Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player That struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing."

I'm going on memory, so I may not have the quote exactly right-

Albert: The way the theory goes, sir, it's the act of lookin' at it that determines if it's alive or dead.
Death: ARE YOU IMPLYING THAT I WILL KILL THE CAT JUST BY LOOKING AT IT?

                          And:

Death: IT'S NOT AS IF I MAKE FACES OR ANYTHING.

                          And another:

Death: THINGS WILL HAVE COME TO A PRETTY PASS, ALBERT, IF I DID NOT KNOW WHETHER A THING WAS DEAD OR ALIVE WITHOUT HAVING TO GO AND LOOK.

All are from Last Hero by Terry Pratchett. Most of my fave quotes are from Pratchett. I have some from Jasper Fforde, but I'll have to go home and look at my quote file to find them.

Death (as a character, anyway) is awesome. I'd say I wanna be like him when I grow up, but I'm not quite that morbid.

VIZZINI: No more rhymes now, I mean it.
                            FEZZIK: Anybody want a peanut?

I am so blessed! Cherriey made this cool sig; scarimor made this great Dr. Lee smilie and Spudster made another neat one Dr. Lee RULES!

                              Some more Discworld quotes :

Albert: Do you know what happens to lads who ask too many questions?
                              Mort: No, what?
                              There was silence.
Albert: Damned if I know. Probably they get answers, and serve 'em right.
                              --From Mort

War: It's going to look pretty good then, isn't it? The One Horseman and Three Pedestrians of the Apocralypse.
                              --From Sorcery

Death: WHO KNOWS WHAT EVIL LURKS IN THE HEART OF MEN?
                              The Death of Rats: SQUEAK
Death: WELL, YES, OBVIOUSLY ME. I JUST WONDERED IF THERE WAS ANYONE ELSE.
                              --From The Truth

                              Terry Pratchett is a genius!
