This episode carries the unfortunate distinction of a title that serves as an elegiacal double entendre. Not only has Tru Davies had enough of Jack Harper's homicidal meddling, but the Fox Broadcasting Network seems to have had enough of TRU CALLING. The greatest shame is that only one episode remained unaired (Fox cancelled the series after six episodes of a proposed thirteen were filmed; to add insult to injury, the finale that would have aired next week will be replaced by THE SIMPLE LIFE)...
