I really hope that the last eps would REALLY kick-butt, show off Jack ATA-gene or something, show him as a good, smart, tactical, experienced soldier kinda like his old Colonel-days ... *hope* :S
Ahhhh!!! Yes -- would love a return to the Colonel days --- looks good in the suit but like him in civies or off world gear -- being not so serious!!!!! miss the "good humor man" teehee :jack_new_anime04: :jack_new15:

oh you don't want to get me started on this ep!!!!
the play between Jack and Danny -- well when Jack asks Danny to help him with his other option and Danny asks him no to ask him to do it and then Jack says you know I would do it for you -- well -- the heart stops -- the tears start even thought i've seen it to many times to count!!!
love Jack's stick to his morals -- the way he is willing to sacrifice to save the girl!!!! so incredibly who Jack is!!!
ok takes a breath!!!!:jack_new15:

You're so right. You feel for him so much as he has to go through the torture and sarc again and again. You feel it b/c of how RDA plays the aftermath. It's so well done it was quite harrowing the first time I saw it and still is a bit. Anyone who thinks Jack is just about wisecracks (probably not anyone on this thread) needs to see this episode.

RDA was incredible --- he sold it all so well - when he admits he knows why he is there --- well my heart was shredded!!! His confidence in the team to come through for him -- and then when he says that if the DJ i know was really here right now --- then the whole speech on how he would blow everything up and more -- welll!!!!!!! sigh!!! oh!! you got me started again!!!:o

Yes, there are soooo many great Jack lines from Abyss..... I just love the way he calls Daniel's name in that pleading tone in the last torture scene......"Daniel.....Daniel.....End this......Daniel...." Rips my heart out.
Also the way he says "I can do that." when Daniel tells him that he'll just have to trust him. Melt.

Yeah, when she wants him to take on the Tok'ra and he can barely talk but says "over my dead body." You want him to live, but you know he hates the "snakes." I wish they wouldn't show those episodes out of order, though. I think they're showing them in filming order or something.

Got season one and two on DVD --- had 3-8 before but only had taped versions of SCI FI before --- didn't realize there was a diff -- watched the pilot last night and found the Jack/Danny moment at Jack's place --- ohh!!! my heart be still --- must say they are my fav parts of the show!!!! they work so incredibly together!!! and well talking about the wives and lost child and *sigh* --- it was great!!!!!!!!

I start watching SG-1 on TV from season 3, then rent all seasons through NetFlix, so I don't know there's a different between TV & DVD in season 1 & 2. Watching SG-1 in DVDs continuously made me liking it to the new level and decide to join the fandom. I guess there's Jack-overloads or something :D
In all honesty, Jack kinda loosing his touch in season 8, even season 7, but in S7 they still have good/action-y episodes, S8 is just .. meh! but still better than nothing (aka S9).
Which is strange to say that the first DVD boxset that I bought is S8 (with all the fiasco about Threads short-version) after that I learned my lesson and just bought region 2 DVDs, I go to Ebay, it's a hassle but all the extra features worth it and if you're lucky you'll get it even cheaper.
I don't think I'll ever buy Season 9 dvds, only if Season 10 is any good, then maybe for the sake of having a complete collection

I saw Memento today. Had to laugh when he was teasing about "prepare to fire" and tells Teal'c "prepare to assist in damage control" and then says "See how melodramatic that is?" (or words to that effect). If I were Ronson I'd be annoyed, but it *was* funny and a bit true.

I had to do overtime :( but I remember Memento, Ronson was by-the-book captain which entrusted with the first interstellar ship, I'll be nervous if I were him. I think in his turn-about way Jack tried to calm Ronson by doing thing irreverently as if it's a normal-everyday things to do.
I'm glad it showed that it's Jack's voice that made the planet agreed for Prommie to land

Hi,
I'm trying to get support here, I've been voting for Amanda Tapping on WWW.Celeeb.com (http://www.celeeb.com/) poll. At the moment she's No.1
Well, I've also been voting for all of the guys as well, trying to make it a Stargate winners month, but RDA is slipping down he was 2nd for a while but he's now 3rd and only 33 away from being fourth, so I'm trying to get some support for the rest of the guys.
You will have to log an account on but if anyone would like to help, it would be greatly appreicated.
Thank you for reading. Away to post on the other thunk threads!

been watching some old eps!!!! and is it just me or is RDA just brilliant as Jack -- i mean -- even the eps that are not the greatest are just soooo much better because of his presence!!!! i have been trying to watch S10 and there just isn't any glue to hold things together -- the lines just don't flow!!! it just makes me realize how great he is in his part!!!!
i have become a "zero hour" addict here lately -- the little things --- like the locking up the two arguing aliens and the krispy creme donuts lines and the turning off the light switch when talking to Dr. Lee --- just the great timing, facial expressions, body language -- the i know there is a joke in there???? teehee:jack_new15:

What did people think of Jack in Atlantis? spoilers for "The REal World" It wasn't really Jack, of course, but it was at least partly Jack from Weir's mind. I thought his reactions in the first scene with Weir were very in character. And I thought RDA's characterization was good--he wasn't exactly the O'Neill we know, b/c in that "reality" he wasn't SG1 O'Neill. Am I making any sense?

I think so!!! He was a more stoic Jack and far more serious and nefarious -- looked so prim and proper in the uniform -- a little of the Jack i love came out when he came by the house in the white track suite *sigh* and did the comments on her set back -- and the oh so Jack -- "he said awkwardly" and he tried a little of the real Jack with the i like to be fantasized about remark teehee:jack_new15: -- was that a line for the fans or what!!! he's finally started reading his fan mail!!!
am i close -- but it was just so dog gone good to see him back in stargate -- think they suspected the cancelation and that is why they have crossed him over -- or was it too much competition for the CM character to have him back to remind us what we have lost??
dunno

I thought it's strange the way Jack's sitting when he met Weir, he crossed his leg at the ankle which is soooo not a career military-man would do, and the 'real' Jack would not 'encourage' Weir to come back to the table, he prolly ask Weir to go fishing :P

WOW... I didn't know such a thread existed. I'll be posting here quite a bit! =D
Anywho, yeah... Jack was the main reason why I loved SG-1 so much. Now, I'm just sick and tired of seeing Mitchell trying TOO hard to be Jack. I can't express in words how much I miss him. I've watched '200' and 'The Real World' more than 10 times by now. I missed him and I guess those 2 episodes are satisfying for now. I'm PATIENTLY (not sure how much longer I can hold it, though) waiting for RDA/Jack's next appearance which should be the first part of mid-season 2-parter for SGA. He brought joy in watching SG-1. Sure, he's good-looking, but he's also very entertaining. No, seriously... I can't describe why or how much I love the man. When you continue without him, you destroy the originality of the show. ...which is why I'm in favour of SCI FI's decision to cancel SG-1. Because, either way, when season 8 ended, that was the end of the show for me. After that, it was just a matter of time that SG-1 got cancelled.
and I can't stop laughing at the "Jacque EauKneel" thing. That's definitely the ol' Rick..err... Jack.
... that's all from me for now I guess.

I used to only thunk for the man (still are) but after a while I thought there should be a thread where we can appreciate JACK O'NEILL as a person, for his loyaly, his mind, his attitude, his bravery, and everything else that makes him so GOOD at what he does, and we're not only appreciating his looks (which is great! great! great! :jack_new_anime18: you won't find me complaining there :D) but the man himself.
As I keep saying to my friends (and in my LJ) that season 9/10 felt weird and lacking something, and that is Jack O'Neill & his Jack-ism which has made us watched the show religiously for 8 seasons. He is the glue that stick together all the teams in SGC, make it work so good it can beat all the trouble that sent to earth. :jack:

Apparently, they didn't. And since they started s9, they couldn't go back and undo everything, so they continued to row a boat that would end up going nowhere (hopefully, you'll get that..).
I would DEFINITELY join that campaign and become an annoying supporter, however, the decision ultimately is up to RDA. We all know he's having a good time with Wylie and that I don't think coming back to the SG world is at the top of his list of priorities (or even ON the list...).
... and yes, if we must, we'll bring him back by force. *hee hee* I love that idea!

So while I won't join the campaign, coz I understand his reason for leaving, I really hope that he would come back as Jack O'Neill as much as he can in the future.

As always you are so wise LJade -- and would never want to get in the way of fatherhood -- but, if he is asking to be called and in the pre 200 show -- his remark of being a workaholic -- seems he is missing the gang -- and he's got to know the fans are missing him!!

Great thread. There are so many Jack O'neill moments that I love I'd be here all night quoting them all, but there are a few early ones that made him one of my favorite characters.
I actually started with S8 (I know odd) and I deicded to start back at S1, I'm on S5 now and Jack is definitely my favorite. After he said "There's no chance in hell" in "Emancipation" I was hooked on O'neill. It showed his humor and loyalty at the same time--two of his best qualities.
I also loved him in the "Nox" episode. He was resourceful--I mean he fashioned that bow out of nothing (very Macgyverish) and used it to down some Jaffa--very impressive. But at the same time he showed an understanding of the Nox's choices.
Skipping ahead, "Message in a Bottle" was another great Jack episode. It was a real tear jerker, especially when he asked Teal'c "please don't make me laugh" because of the pain. It was terrible for Jack not to be able to joke!!
Another episode that had me cheering for Jack was "Learning Curve". He believed what was being done to the children was intrinsically wrong and he acted.
For S4, I think my favorite (although it was AU) Jack moment came in 2010. He felt rejected by the SGC and the US but swallowed his pride and helped SG-1 change the past. I also loved how he refused to allow Frasier to pull the plug on Carter in "Entity". Whether a shipper or not, it was a great moment. I also found it interesting when he threatened the alien. The alien said "you wont send more MALPs" (which would cause huge destruction) and Jack said "You read my record, you know I will". That record must be quite interesting...
For S5, and this is one of my fave moments of em all, the scene in "Red Sky" where he assualts the fringe group leader for causing the death of two of his men. His savage loyalty and even brutality came out there. I was hsocked by the scene when I first saw it, but it has often been hinted at that Jack is not always the good tempered, laid back sarcastic guy he usually is--he can be quite intense as well.
Finally, Jack is dang cute and hilarious in general and that's reason enough to have him in every scene.

Lots of good choices, but I picked out this one from your list. This was a great scene for Jack and RDA. As you say, we see the intense side of O'Neill & you can see in that his special ops background where he was able to do "some damn distateful things" as he says in "Cor-ai." I found RDA totally believeable in that scene.

See... that's what I like about RDA/Jack, he made it believable and made the Jack character comes alive & has dimensions. Not so much of that in Season 8 though, a lot of him dumbed-down :( at least until 2/2 season, and 'came alive' again at the end. I really see the 'old' Jack in the last 5 episodes. :jack:

I forgot about that "Cor-ai" quote. You're right, the "Red Sky" scene just makes me believe everything I've heard in regard to his record on the show. It was also a great opportunity for RDA to show his acting range. I was taken aback by his ferocity there. I totally believed he wanted to kill that man.
It actually reminds me of a scene from "Spirits". Towards the end of the episode, Jack found himself surrounded by the shapeshifters and he had no idea who to shoot. He was injured, confused and quite clearly shaken. The way he rapidly shifted his aim from one to the other with shaky aim was very effective.
Speaking of shape shifting, I loved the scene in "Foothold" where Jack has to confront the "alien" Frasier and he punches her. Quickly noting "That was weird". When he had to search her for the shape shifting device I couldn't stop laughing because of his "it's only an alien, it's only an alien" line to ratioinalize the situation .

1000 posts ago (not including Off Topic post -- at least 1000 on the "Jonno" threads alone!) I only came to GateWorld to find out who to scream at for letting Jack - RDA leave SG1!
Found out it was his choice and for good solid reasons -- so I let it rest -- but my heart was sad! (OK honestly I was truly devastated -- but I understood)! *sigh*

hmm!!! so many eps i didn't love the first time around just grow on you the more you watch his little things he ads to them!!!
he can't leave things around him alone -- always playing with things -- picking them up and somehow bringing them into the scene!! you can see the other actors on the screen trying not to laugh as they watch him in action -- he just brings it all to life to being real and believable -- so gets into the character and makes the scene his own!!
it is what the show is missing now --- the writers can be as brilliant as they want but if the actor can't make it real -- well!!! -- he gets that jaw twisting or tongue moving and you know something brilliant is about to happen -- it is like that mind is going 90 to nothing and its about to explode!!

Personally, I think RDA a bit out-of-character of Jack. He looks out of place/not comfortable. Either it's the bad directing or the writer just can't write a witty enough dialogues. But all in all, I still love the episode. It's a good think to see him there. :jack:

YEP! that's the thing, the re-writing that he & Michael Greenburg did was what made the show so good.
I like the combo of Brad Wright writing, Martin Wood directing & those two editting the script.
Season9/10 just don't get the 'right' Jack-ism to me. Too much comedic-moment in (supposed to be ) serious situation, out of place jokes, just.... not right *sigh* :mckay:
On last night eps the scenes where I 'see' Jack were when he/Woolsey talk in the meeting to Helia, and when he talk to Weir (alone). Even his entrance with Landry is a bit weird, but I like his comment about maidens & voyages :D

Jumping in...
I think that ep showed his brilliance better than any other moments. What he tells Carter and Daniel is *so* painful at the moment and immediately cuts them off emotionally from him. Yet, when it turns out he was undercover and playing a role, the words he chose take on an entirely different meaning. To Carter: "I haven't been myself since I met you" shows that knowing her has changed him for the positive and "if that's true we don't have much of a foundation for our friendship" means they do have a foundation because it's not true. Especially when he looks Daniel in the eye and says, "Your a smart guy, figure it out!" He's so trying to get Daniel to "get it".
Brilliant!

probably true but i think the real RDA is more of constant jokester than Jack and he has to reel himself in in that area! but i love when his off the wall sense of humor comes through!!! it is so off the cuff and aprapo for the scene not some forced joke that doesn't seem right!!
i mean he is always pulling in little things around him that you know aren't written in they are just RDA and they just make the scene funnier -- i can't imagine trying to film him or direct him i'm sure there are times that they just sit back and let him run with it. but there are so many times when he says or does things that you can tell (of course i mean after watching the eps a cabillion times) by everyone elses face on the screen that he just threw something in and they are trying not to lose it!!!

RDA was great in that Red Sky scene.
Also, over the years I've really come to appreciate RDA's subtle moments. In "Death Knell" (which I think AT does a great job in) RDA shows Jack's concern (and I'm not a shipper) by a look or a clench of the jaw. There's no rending of garments and shouting "we've got to find her!" The look he gives Reynolds when he says "who could have survived this?" speaks volumes of the "never leave anyone behind" code he has.
This is why I think some people (including some of TPTB) IMHO underestimated RDA's contribution. They thought they just needed a wisecracking character to replace Jack. As much as I love his humor, Jack is much more than that.

Right. And Jack was influenced a lot by RDA and his own sense of humor. I always think of with O'Neill is the humor coming from the character (and the situation), not jokes being thrown in for the sake of having a joke. :jack: Drama lightened periodically by humor is one of the things I loved about the early seasons. I think since the loss of RDA, the writers think they're writing a comedy. That's not my SG1. (particularly when I don't think they're particularly funny) :(

I say RDA made the scripts work by his way of adlibbing. It kept all the actors on their toes, not knowing when he would change the dialogue or add a joke into the mix.

there are so many parts in sg1 10 yrs that Jack will always be remembered. But I think his best work is when he says nothing and he just lets those beautiful brown eyes say everything. As they say "less is more".

I definitely think that's why the new SG-1 dialogue isn't working. It being acted out like it is being straight read off a page. Where with RDA, the script was spontateous and more like real people's conversation. Know what I mean?

Oh!!! no, no, no --- don't get me started on the eyes!!! *sigh* the intensity is incredible -- and the spark -- *sigh, sigh* --- saw him in a recent interview and he was talking about the Simpsons and the eyes were dancing -- you could see the jokes just formulating behind them -- he doesn't have to say a word -- the eyes are incredible -- my favorite ep is Paradise Lost and he does that whole segment where he is alone on the screen and not a word and he keeps you captivated (seen it a kazillion times and never gets old)

Like in "Full Circle" when Jack says "Well spank me Rosey" (which is a adlibb line) you have to watch Carter and Teal'c faces, they are trying not to laugh!!

I think Jack really believes that he's not that complex, which just adds to his complexity. I don't think his problem is that he can't understand the techno-babble side of things so much, but more that he is able to see the whole picture more clearly without delving inside. I'm not sure I'm explaining that right. :S IMO, that is one of the qualities that makes Jack a good leader and enables him to make quick decisions. Not that he doesn't ask for input, but sometimes, he has to decide live or death situations in an instant.

LOL! I’ve got to disagree with that. Jack has an engineering degree of some kind (AF Academy Grad) and graduated from one of the TOP engineering schools in the country with honors by the background the writers gave him. He’s a fighter and a test pilot.
He really does understand more than he lets on. Jack is a VERY cut to the chaste thinker and lives by the rules of KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). Years in the field commanding 18-22 year old kids will do that to any good officer. :)

I think he can understand if he chooses/needs to. But he has others (Carter, ususally) to do that. His job is to oversee the entire mission: Carter's techno area, Daniel's archeo- area, and Teal'c's environmental/alien area. Jack is there to lead them. And to let them know when enough is enough and its time to get out. I guess the KISS rule (LOL) about sums it up. Jack is definately one of those people who doesn't like to toot his own horn. Unless, of course, it was an actual horn. ;)

This discussion reminds of a personality typing system called Myers-Brigg part of which looks at how people like to receive information - either by getting an overview and seeing the big picture, or by getting the detail and examining all the information. Jack definitely falls into the former rather than the latter, IMO. :)

Whoops! Sorry about that. I misread your post. I’ve just had to defend the brains that go to our military academies so often it’s kind of second nature. :) I still try to figure out why people underestimate the brains that go to the any of the military academies when all of them rank in the top 10 engineering schools in the country.
Speaking of BM. You can explain a lot of the inter-group fights with that personality chart. Jack for instance jumps firs to big picture vs detail. He’s also Sensor (or at least that’s the version we learned called that preference). Jack collects data pretty strictly from his 5 senses alone (He and T both). Sam and Daniel are the very opposite.

Yes. I think someone needed to remind the writers of that in a few of the later season episodes with Jack. He's not dumb. I think they sometimes used him as the guy standing in for the audience when Carter was explaining something. Ok. They can't just have Carter say "Of course it's the doppler phase whatsit!" and have everyone nod sagely. But in many of the early episodes they wrote the need for the explanation more subtly than having Jack seem dim. And remember times when *he* did the explaining?--"acretion disc" comes to mind.

Jack was far from dumb because anyone who's in the military knows that the airforce academy only takes the top of the classes from high schools and to be black-ops you have to be the top of your graduating class from the af academy. Same for the CIA and FBI. You also need a Masters degree to become a officer.

Him knowing how to dance is pretty much given. Back when he graduated from the Academy ball room dancing was a required course if I remember correctly. It’s the Officer and Gentleman thing. :)
I could see Jack being a writer too. Though we do know by cannon he taught himself pottery.

Jack was far from dumb because anyone who's in the military knows that the airforce academy only takes the top of the classes from high schools and to be black-ops you have to be the top of your graduating class from the af academy. Same for the CIA and FBI. You also need a Masters degree to become a officer.
Jack’s probably got a couple of Master’s degrees actually. :)
Air Force flight school is considered the equivalent of a Masters in Aerospace Engineering by the private sector. When he hit colonel he would have most likely been sent to the AF War College and strongly “encouraged” to pick up another Masters. They like well rounded officers. So they tend to encourage you pick up another Masters in another area usually history and tactics, business administration, management and leadership, ect.
Jack also most likely would have had to do 2 over seas tours too. So he’s lived overseas for roughly 4 year. I know it’s required in the Navy to hit the equivalent of full bird.
I think some people consider Jack ‘dumb’ because he doesn’t start with the 3 dollar words right out of the gate like Daniel and Sam do. Jack if you ever listen to him tends to ease his vocabulary slowly up to the person he’s talking to. It’s a way to put people at ease. Back to being able to command men that might only have the equivalent of a GED or a high school diploma in the field. That and if the enemy underestimates him because he doesn’t use the big words much—Even better.

IMO if he has a few Master degrees, he might as well have tried for Doctoral, maybe secretly he did... ;)

LOL! Thank you. Believe it or not I knew a lot of military officers growing up that were just like Jack. They tended to believe if you couldn’t explain it less then 3 minutes, using simple words… You really had no freaking clue what you were talking about.
Jack very well might have a doctorate. Most of the Stars have doctorates. The fact they put a star on his shoulder, promoted him, and never sent him back to the War College for one strongly implies he might have one.

I wonder if the writers know all this. In the last season or so they haven't seemed to be paying any attention to their military advisors--if they still have them.

I have several academy grad friends and they are all certainly above the average in intelligence but also great pranksters -- Jack is pretty on target -- the stories of the things they did -- well not the average campus joke!! One i heard of how they hung a garbage can on the top of the main flag pole which is close to nothing and way up there -- it took geat thought of how to get it up there and not leave any trace of how they did -- well -- brain power while still major mishief!! the academy had to hire a huge crane to come and get it down!!!! by the way!!

Most of the Academy tops grads have IQ’s the equivalent of Sam’s and Daniel’s. Real life geniuses really choose to go there. The average IQ of fighter pilots across the service is 140.
As for them being pranksters. It’s a time honored tradition especially the weeks where one of the academies takes on another one. A good friend of mine husband was an AF Academy Grad. The year he went they took apart one of the Airplane shells they use as sculptures on the Academy grounds. (These suckers are FILLED with cement to weight them down) Took the sucker apart and suck it in the Commandant’s office. No easy feat either. The prank took a lot of team work, pulleys, and slide rulers to figure the angles to get in to the office because the commandant couldn’t even open the doors in to his office once they had it in there.

I honestly don’t know.
They really haven’t hit a lot of the traditions that go hand-and-hand with the Academy for example. Both Jack and Sam should have Academy rings. It’s considered a HIGH honor to be an Academy grad and it kinds of throws you in to a very elite circle. Most grads don’t take the ring off unless the job requires it. With the ragging that we saw in earlier seasons between Jack and the Jarheads we never heard them mention the President’s Trophy and the riverary between the 3 service academies either.
So there are a lot of the nuances of military culture the writers never bothered to use.

LOL! I tend to agree with the other poster that’s SOOO Jack. :)
Sometimes I wonder if Jack’s greatest fear is being crazy. Taking in to his account his reactions to Daniel going off the deep end in “Holiday”, his mention of doing the ‘strapped to the bed, drugged thing”, how Jack implied he’s a recovering addict in “Need”, and later not telling anyone about seeing Joe’s life. Add in if you try to smooth movie continuity with the PTSD (flashbacks) and the fact Jack was depressed and suicidal after Charlie died. Sometimes I wonder if Jack’s scared to death he’s going to end up in a little white room somewhere and that’s the real reason he never told anyone about seeing Joe’s life.

Thanks. I appreciate the kind words.
A lot of this just comes from growing up around the system. The military functions within a very closed system. Its Commanders are trained to be independent, to be accountable for decisions that cost or save lives, and to assume a undue portion of the misery of others. Not a system that really encourages or makes it easy for people to seek help.

Okay, for my 1000th post, I thought I'd do something special. If you know me, you know I'm a big Danny fan which is true, but I'm becoming a big Jack fan too. Regardless, one of my favorite aspects of the show has always been Jack and Danny's friendship. So even though the J/D friendship thread is probably more appropriate, I wanted to post my 1000th here as a tribute to the good friends I've made here. (One of them happens to own this thread. :) Hope you don't mind, Jade! :D)
After all, these are Jack O'Neill moments that I appreciate. ;)
Spoilers due to size only! And for those of you that don't remember, the middle picture is from Meridian.

Interesting but i just don't see it that way -- i think he is just quirky. the personality type that knows how to suffer yet still move on -- he has obviously suffered several great losses in his life (more than the average person) especially his son -- it would crush most people -- but i think that is what makes Jack - Jack, his ability to rise above it all -- and i think Joe was just a nice break for Jack -- like watching another ep of the Simpsons!!

Very true.
Jack’s a very independent, creative, dynamic, high energy, restless personality type that can take a pounding that would crush most people and run down men half his age. He’s also very charismatic, charming, with the ability to (most times at least) always keep the big picture in mind. Who has the appeal and the leadership ability to forge 4 rather difficult personalities in to a working cohesive team and make it look simple.
On the flip side those personality traits also make him stubborn, hot tempered, at times a bit impulsive and more prone to extremes- that includes depression. Jack’s a type of person that doesn’t do anything half way that goes from leading and inspiring his men from the spear, to withdrawing from society and becoming a hermit, to taking out Kinsley.
Traits are not good or bad—they just are. It’s how you direct them.
Jack’s self aware enough to know his dark side. That’s how being in all the dark places and the losses in his life has made him stronger. Jack knows himself that’s the strength and wisdom he always brought to the team.
