Somehow I don't think Jack is a scifi fan. Didn't he kind of roll his eyes at Teal'c's multiple viewings of Star Wars in the Orlin episode? Stop! I take that back. In 1969 Jack stated his name was Luke Skywalker to the American military interrogator. Ok, he probably watched Star Wars at least once. But, no, I don't see him watching Sanctuary unless there are explosions, guns, and chase scenes.

But, maybe RDA watched it! :D

Well, I have to agree that Sam is an important part of Jack's weekend life when they are together since there is a long-distance relationship implicit during the past two years.

At his post as a major general in the Air Force at the Pentagon, he works hard all week and probably has to attend evening military/political functions on weeknights. So, when the weekend rolls around and Sam's in Colorado or offworld, he probably spends quiet time at home.

There are alot of nice bike paths along the Potomac, Virginia, and D.C. If he really enjoys classical music then the Kennedy Center offers concerts. I bet there's a long leash on major generals from the Pentagon so if he's lucky, he can go to some nearby lakes to fish.

But, he longs for downtime at his cabin with Sam!

I was rewatching Rite of Passage & there are a couple of Jack moments I love:

Cassie has been brought to the base after she passed out at home. Jack comes in to check on her. The look on his face when Doc Fraiser pulls out the hypodermic in priceless.

And when they're in Nirti's lab & he finds that strange hand device we see Nirti use later. The way he drops it into the case like it's "icky." :D

I want to thank all of you that came over the SciFic and Fantasy section and voted for RDA for the best looking male character.

Unfortunately, the tournament runner decided it was not fair to have people voting for the first time in the last two rounds and all first-time votes were disqualified in round 61 regardless of who the votes were for.

The good news is RDA did make it into the final round against Hugh Jackman. :D

Here's my take on the flowery pillow case. They have probably changed the sheets and if you don't do the laundry promptly, you start using the linen from the bottom of the stack that was given to you or left by someone. *That pillow case didn't seem right to me and I needed to justify it.*

Welcome back L-Jade! Some men I know like flowery pillowcases and nooo they are not......you know what I mean:).
